New TV Series on Eco Gardens

Matt James aka The City Gardener is making a new series for UKTV called Matt James' Eco Eden. He will be visiting people in urban areas and helping them to make their gardens environmentally friendly. One of the ways they can do this is by getting rid of paved over front gardens.

 

As we know from the Ealing Front Gardens Project, nearly two thirds of the total area of Ealing's front gardens is covered with hard surfacing of some kind, so let's hope that at least some of the owners of these gardens will be inspired to follow Matt James' advice, and that people contemplating hard surfacing can be persuaded to choose one of the more eco-friendly alternatives to solid concrete.
