Happy Birthday to Ealing Freecycle

The Ealing Freecycle group celebrated its first birthday last month. This first year has clearly been very successful as the group now has more than 4000 members. If you aren't one of them yet, why not give it a try? The idea is to offer, for free, items that you no longer want but which may be of use to someone else. The aim is to keep things out of landfill. It's especially good for items that you wouldn't be able to take to a charity shop – some recent examples have been topsoil, paving slabs, doors, but anything legal can be offered. Once you have made your first offer you're able to post requests for things that you want.
