Towpath Code of Conduct

British Waterways have issued a code of conduct for towpath users. Cyclist are asked to ring their bell twice when approaching a pedestrian. The code stresses that this is not an order to get out of the way, but a signal that cyclists are waiting for an an opportunity to pass.
