“Water” at the Lyric Theatre Hammersmith
Running from 16 October to 3 November is what promises to be an unusual and exciting multi-media production.
Cutting
between powerful individual stories, “Water” explores
man's desire to push himself to the limits in a world of increasingly
unstable climate change. In Canada, two half brothers clash over the
legacy of their dead father, a famous eco-scientist. In Germany, a
climate change government advisor tries to push through a deal at a
political summit, while in Mexico an Englishman prepares to dive the
deepest freshwater cave in the world.
Video is mixed onstage and
sound is produced live by a musician and the performers to create a
unique, ‘live chemistry’ experience for audiences.
